The total TVL of liquid-staking protocols reached $17.81 billion, for the first time surpassing the level of the DEX. This is according to data from DeFi Llama.
Liquidity in the Lido, Rocket Pool and Frax Ether services over the last month rose by 10.54%, 25.13% and 36.45% respectively. This points to growing interest in staking following the activation Shapella.
According to TokenUnlocks, a total of 17.55 million ETH ($33.42 billion) is staked. Over the last 24 hours, 88,740 ETH were deposited into the deposit contract, 30,920 ETH withdrawn, leaving a net balance of 57,820 ETH ($106.41 million).
The slowdown in withdrawals could prove a modestly bullish factor for Ethereum’s price as the growth in the active supply of coins on the market slows.
Over the last 24 hours, Ether’s price rose by 2%. The asset is trading around $1,900.
As noted by Dune, recorded a record weekly inflow of assets into the deposit contract on the Ethereum network.
