
U.S. authorities demanded Paxos freeze assets withdrawn from FTX
Paxos has been ordered by US federal law enforcement authorities to freeze assets linked to four Ethereum addresses.

According to a press release dated November 12, Paxos froze 11,184.38 PAXG worth about $19 million. These tokens had previously been on the FTX.com platform and were moved to unknown addresses in the previous 24 hours.

On November 11, the FTX Group filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Sam Bankman-Fried stepped down as CEO.
On the same day, Tether Limited, at the request of law enforcement authoritiesblocked 46,370,701 USDT belonging to FTX on the Tron blockchain, and later 31.4 million USDT. This occurred after PeckShield researchers drew attention to transfers worth over $400 million from the Bitcoin exchange’s accounts to external addresses.
Earlier, Kraken, at the request of law enforcement authoritiesfroze accounts belonging to the FTX Group, including Alameda Research, and their executives.
