In the updated Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list, the founders Hayden Adams of Uniswap and Kevin Sekniak of Avalanche were included. Nearly half of the list of young people recognised in North American finance had ties to cryptocurrencies.

In addition to the creator of the leading DEX Adams and Ava Labs cofounder Sekniak, the crypto industry was represented on the list by:
- Executive Director Eva Beylin of The Graph Foundation;
- Founder Sam Kazemian of Frax Finance;
- Partner at Blockchain Capital and Komorebi DAO co-founder Kinjal Shah;
- Maxwell Stein, BlackRock’s digital assets specialist;
- Founders of Africa’s Yellow Card crypto exchange Chris Maurice and Justin Puaro;
- Kanav Kharia, president of Jump Trading’s crypto division;
- Partner Lydia Hilton at Bain Capital Crypto;
- Viktor Faramond, co-founder and chief technology officer of MoonPay;
- Connext Labs founders Arjun Bhupatani and Lane Haber;
- Ria Butoria, general partner at Castle Island Ventures and Komorebi co-founder.
«During a year of sharp losses in financial markets, these entrepreneurs, traders and investors navigated volatile waters deftly and wielded substantial influence», Forbes commented.
A judging panel shortlisted from more than a thousand nominees included:
- Co-founder and CEO of Nubank David Vélez;
- Co-founder of NFT marketplace OpenSea Alex Atala;
- Partner and head of the Digital Assets Strategy at Apollo Global Management Christine Moy;
- Managing Partner at Peak6 Investments Jenny Just.
Atala had previously appeared on last year’s edition of the ’30 Under 30′ list.
Forbes’ Fintech 50 list published in June featured nine cryptocurrency companies, including OpenSea and Ava Labs.
