Uniswap Introduces Cross-Chain Bridge Across Nine Networks
DEX Uniswap has enabled users to directly swap native tokens and stablecoins across nine networks via its interface and exchange wallet.
Bridging should be as simple as swapping

The solution is implemented on the permissionless Across Protocol, which utilizes a decentralized network of liquidity pools and relayers.
“Until now, moving assets between chains was a complex task. It required using external bridges, dealing with unfamiliar interfaces, and enduring long transaction waits. Plus, there was always uncertainty about the security of various services,” developers noted in a blog.
Initially, the bridge is available for Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, OP Mainnet, Zora, Blast, World Chain, and ZKsync.
To use the cross-chain service, one must access the Swap Modal, select the asset to swap, choose the target network, and confirm the transaction.
To start bridging on Uniswap Web and Wallet:
1️⃣ Navigate to the Swap Modal
2️⃣ Choose the asset you want to bridge
3️⃣ Choose an asset from “Swap across networks”
4️⃣ And then confirm your transactionIt’s never been easier to move crypto across chains ? pic.twitter.com/qsFchDREmk

“It has never been easier to move cryptocurrency across chains,” Uniswap expressed confidence.
Earlier, developers announced the implementation of cross-network swapping in the interface and wallet, while unveiling the launch of Uniswap’s own Ethereum Layer 2 network called Unichain.
