Unknown investor buys 171 billion SHIB for $8.3 million

On November 16, an unknown user purchased the meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu for about $8.3 million. WhaleStats drew attention to it.

Over two transactions, the investor bought 171 billion SHIB. The total fee amounted to $217.

At the time of writing, Shiba Inu is trading at about $0.00004969.

The number of Shiba Inu holders has surpassed 970,000. The asset, with a market cap of $27.3 billion, ranks 11th in CoinGecko ranking.

As previously reported, one of Shiba Inu’s early investors who put $8,000 into the asset in August 2020 has since become a multibillionaire. By the end of October, the value of the coins in his wallet at one point exceeded $5 billion.

Subsequently he transferred 40 trillion SHIB to new wallets.
