Uzbekistan grants license to new crypto depository

On November 13, Uzbekistan’s National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) granted Paynet Crypto лицензию криптодепозитария.

This will enable the platform to issue, carry out a primary offering and store digital assets.

As of writing, in Uzbekistan лицензирована деятельность двух бирж, криптодепозитария Lockton Hub и десяти криптообменников.

Earlier in August 2022, NAPP restricted access to unlicensed cryptocurrency exchanges and exchangers. The regulator required services to register as providers of services to conduct activities in the country.
