Wallet to Introduce Trade and Earn Features

On March 13, developers at The Open Platform (TOP) announced the launch of the next generation of the Wallet integrated into Telegram. The updated product line includes Trade and Earn sections.

Wallet Trade will provide Telegram users access to trading the most popular assets. In addition to Toncoin, Bitcoin, USDT, and TON-based tokens, the application will gradually expand the number of available coins.

“Initially, users will be able to buy, sell, and store tokens without on-chain deposits or withdrawals. This approach ensures seamless portfolio expansion in Telegram for less experienced users,” the developers noted.

The Earn feature will become a permanent fixture. The first campaign in this section will offer flexible returns from Toncoin held in Wallet deposits. A similar feature for USDT will be available soon. By the end of 2025, Wallet Earn will launch more lucrative campaigns for cryptocurrency holders.

“Wallet is expanding its functionality to meet consumer expectations for an open and broad market. We also plan to implement a loyalty program specifically for Toncoin holders to further encourage the adoption of the TON ecosystem,” commented TOP CEO Andrey Rogozov.

The update will be rolled out during March-April. Depending on regulatory restrictions, functionality may be unavailable in certain regions.

In April 2024, Wallet introduced transactions with TON-based USDT.

In December, developers at The Open Platform officially launched the non-custodial wallet TON Space after its beta phase. Users gained access to a smooth transition between TON Space and Wallet.
