Web3 Game Pixels Reaches 1 Million Daily Users

The Web3 game Pixels has surpassed the milestone of 1 million active daily users. The total number of unique wallets has exceeded 3.7 million, according to Footprint Analytics.

“While this is an important milestone, Pixels CEO and founder Luke Barwikowski believes the best measure of success in Web3 is the ratio between spent and distributed PIXEL. Over the past 30 days, 4.4 million tokens have been spent,” project representatives told The Block.

According to CoinGecko, the mentioned amount is equivalent to $1.53 million. At the time of writing, PIXEL is trading at $0.34 and ranks 13th among gaming coins. 

Pixels is launched on the gaming sidechain Ronin. Data from Token Terminal shows that the number of active users on the network increased by 7% over 30 days. 

An analyst known as Daryl.ron noted that over the past month, the Pixels website was visited by more than 18 million people. The game attracted particular attention in Southeast Asia, with the majority from the Philippines (almost 18%). 

[Update] @pixels_online hit 18 million visitors on their website last month. The SEA Region still leads in contributing to the traffic. The game also gained momentum in the Thailand market, which increased by 80%.

“[Residents] of Thailand and the Philippines are among the most active users of social-type MMO games, especially if the game includes guilds,” he noted.

Back in February, within 24 hours of its launch, PIXELS saw its token trading volume exceed $1 billion.
