WhitePay rolls out cryptocurrency payments in Ukrainian electronics stores

WhitePay, the platform integrated into the WhiteBIT bitcoin exchange ecosystem, has launched cryptocurrency payments for goods in Ukraine’s largest electronics-store chains, including Techno Hedgehog and Stylus.

Currently more than 130 cryptocurrencies are accepted for payments. The list will expand over time.

Customers can pay via the acquiring form in online stores or at offline points of sale through dedicated POS terminals.

WhitePay, in turn, handles payment processing oversight, system development, and customer support.

Earlier, thanks to a partnership with the WhiteBIT exchange, the Ukrainian charitable foundation ‘Tabletochky’ expanded options for cryptocurrency donations.

In March, Binance announced the launch of the company Bifinity, which is positioned as an official payments provider in fiat and digital currencies.

In July the exchange joined the global digital lend-lease for Ukraine – Digital4Freedom.
