On Tuesday, April 6, the XRP token price surpassed the $1 mark. The asset’s market capitalization reached $45 billion.
In the last 24 hours, XRP rose 40.5%. At the time of writing, the token ranks fourth in the market-cap ranking of the largest crypto assets, according to CoinGecko.
Earlier, three-year high above $0.80.
On April 5, Whale Alert recorded a transfer of 15 million XRP (about $10.3 million at the time) from an unknown wallet to the cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp.
On April 6, an unknown user sent 8,899,980 XRP (~$8.7 million at the current rate) to the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange.

According to Whale Alert, 5,825,600 XRP were sent from an unknown wallet to the Huobi exchange.

In late 2020, Bitstamp and Coinbase halted trading of the XRP token amid the SEC’s allegations against Ripple.
The SEC later clarified that exchanges or other platforms do not violate the regulator’s guidelines by selling XRP.
On April 3, 2021, a Twitter user speculated that Coinbase was working on relisting the token. As evidence, he cited several lines of code from the Coinbase Pro API.

Between April 5 and 6, more than 600 large XRP transactions (each over $100,000) were observed, journalist Colin Wu noted.

Earlier, filed a lawsuit against the crypto-lending provider Nexo over the suspension of XRP usage.
