YouTube is testing a new feature for content creators called Brainstorm with Gemini, based on Google’s AI.
This tool enables video creators to brainstorm ideas, titles, and thumbnails. To use the tool, one must open YouTube Studio, describe the video idea in the search bar, and select the Brainstorm with Gemini option.
The functionality is available to a limited number of users as part of an experiment. YouTube will assess feedback from video creators before rolling out the tool to a wider audience.
Brainstorm with Gemini is similar to another AI feature YouTube began testing in May. It provides creators with video ideas that might interest their audience and then generates a plan to expedite the video creation process.
In July, YouTube Music introduced two new tools: an AI-powered conversational radio feature and a Shazam-like function.
Previously, the company required creators to label content made with neural networks.
In September 2023, YouTube released an AI tool for generating backgrounds using prompts.
