Users have access to unique NFT tokens in the form of cards depicting each player at the club, including forwards Malcom and Artem Dzyuba.
The tokens can be collected, sold, and used to participate in virtual tournaments with cryptocurrency prizes.
Player cards are put up for sale via auction.
The 2019-founded startup Sorare has attracted around 40,000 users worldwide. In August 2020, sales of digital cards generated €735,000 for the company. In the current financial year Sorare forecasts revenue of €5m.
Earlier, Paris Saint-Germain stated its cooperation with Sorare.
