
Zerion fintech startup raises $12.3 million from Wintermute Ventures and other investors
The team behind the Zerion investment app raised $12.3 million in a Series B financing round. It was led by Wintermute Ventures — the venture arm of the eponymous market maker.

Participants in the round also included Placeholder, Mosaic, Polymorphic Capital, Coinbase Ventures, the founders of 1inch Network Sergey Kunts and Anton Bukov, Alchemy Ventures and others.
The project team will use the funding to further develop the product.
“In Zerion we see a new generation of Web3 applications. The next frontier of blockchain is the user layer, and the cross-chain-compatible Zerion wallet, mobile-oriented, enables users to participate easily in this ecosystem,” said Wintermute founder Evgeny Gaevoy.
Founded in 2016, the Zerion startup conducted a seed round for the eponymous investment app in 2019. In July 2021 the team raised $8.2 million led by Mosaic Ventures.
In September 2022, the Web3 data platform Space and Time raised $20 million in strategic funding from major investors led by the Microsoft M12 fund.
In the same month, the technical venture studio MPCH Labs closed a Series A funding round of $40 million. It was led by Liberty City Ventures.
