NFT marketplace Async Art raises over $2 million in funding

The seed round was led by investment firm Lemniscap. It also saw participation from Galaxy Interactive, Signum Growth Capital, Semantic and Placeholder.

\n

Co-founder Lisa Liang of Async Art told The Block that the funds will be used to scale the platform and expand the team.

\n

β€œThe NFT industry is thriving. Digital artists can monetise their works, and investors can diversify risks in scarce assets,” said a senior executive.

\n

In February, the cryptocurrency wallet provider Blockchain.com raised $120 million in a funding round with the participation of Google Ventures.

\n
