NFT owner accidentally sells Bored Ape Yacht Club #3547 for 0.75 ETH instead of 75 ETH

The owner of the non-fungible token (NFT) Bored Ape Yacht Club #3547 named Max accidentally sold it for 0.75 ETH ($2,931) instead of the planned 75 ETH ($293,100). CNET reports.

“How did this happen? I think I got distracted,” he explained.

The token was purchased immediately. The buyer paid an additional 8.5 ETH (about $33,300) to speed up the transaction.

On May 30, 2021, Max purchased Bored Ape Yacht Club #3547 for 1 ETH.

Earlier, the NFT from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection was sold for 4,337 times the purchase price — for 347 ETH (nearly $1.4 million).

In October, the Bored Ape Yacht Club token #8585 was bought for 696,969 ETH (about $2.8 million at the time of the deal).

In November, daily sales on OpenSea doubled due to a surge of interest in the monkey NFT collection.

In December Adidas announced a collaboration with NFT projects Bored Ape Yacht Club, GMoney and PunksComic within the metaverse.
