Nvidia has barred cryptocurrency-related companies from participating in its Inception program, as stated on the application page.
Nvidia Inception is a global program supporting startups in AI, medicine, robotics, fintech, visual computing, and other advanced technologies. Participants receive:
- technical support and training from Nvidia engineers;
- access to cloud resources and GPU;
- marketing and investment support;
- discounts on company products;
- opportunities to participate in industry events.
Eligible companies must meet the following criteria:
- employ at least one developer;
- have a functioning website;
- be established less than 10 years ago.
In addition to crypto companies, the following are also excluded from Nvidia Inception:
- consulting and outsourcing development firms;
- cloud service providers;
- resellers and distributors;
- public companies.
The L2 project Arbitrum intended to join Nvidia Inception, but at the last minute, the American chipmaker informed them of the need to cancel the announcement, reports CoinDesk. Specific details on the reasons for the decision were not disclosed.
Back in December 2024, media reported on Nvidia’s plans to focus on robotics in 2025.
In March 2025, the corporation introduced a motion simulation engine for bots and several other products.
