The recently established OKEx Block Dream Fund will provide $10 million to advance projects in the Filecoin ecosystem — Slingshot, Launchpad Accelerator and Frontier Accelerator. This was announced on the exchange’s site.
“We forecast explosive growth in the market for distributed data storage in the coming years and want to invest our resources in companies building Filecoin-based solutions,” said representatives of Block Dream Fund.
The fund’s experts said they expect the emergence of several unicorn startups in this segment.
Block Dream Fund’s support for the Filecoin ecosystem also includes:
- Facilitating strategic partnerships and business consulting;
- Integration with OKEx’s global network of key resources, predominantly targeting Asian markets;
- Providing access to the OKEx trading platform.
