The cryptocurrency exchange OKX получила лицензию in Dubai and plans to establish a regional headquarters in the emirate.
🇦🇪 OKX has been granted a provisional virtual assets (VA) license to provide services to qualified investors in the UAE, the broader GCC, Africa, and beyond.

The license issued by the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority will allow OKX to provide ‘an approved list of products and services to qualified investors and financial-services providers in the UAE in a safe and regulated manner’.
CEO Lennix Lai promised to continue “driving innovations within regulated frameworks” and noted the prospects of the region’s fast-growing market, the MENA region.
Earlier, similar licenses in Dubai were issued to FTX and Binance.
As reported, OKX will become the sponsor of Manchester City Football Club in the new season of the English Premier League.
