Ondo Launches Stock and ETF Trading on BNB Chain

Ondo Global Markets expands to BNB Chain, offering over 100 tokenized stocks and ETFs.

Ondo Global Markets has expanded its support to the BNB Chain network. Users of the ecosystem now have access to over 100 tokenized American stocks and ETFs.

Today, Ondo Global Markets expands to @BNBCHAIN, bringing U.S. markets to millions worldwide.

The RWA project Ondo Finance and Ondo Foundation launched Ondo Global Markets in September. Initially, the platform’s products were available on Ethereum. According to a press release, in the first few weeks after launch, its TVL exceeded $350 million, and trading volume reached $670 million.

The integration will allow the 3.4 million active wallets on BNB Chain to trade new assets. The initiative will be supported by major projects within the ecosystem, including the DEX PancakeSwap.

Sarah Sun, Head of Business Development at BNB Chain, noted that RWA is one of the fastest-growing segments in the ecosystem. She stated that the partnership with Ondo Finance confirms this trend and connects traditional markets with blockchain technology.

Nathan Allman, CEO of Ondo Finance, stated that the expansion to BNB Chain will provide access to American securities for millions of users in Asia and Latin America. He emphasized the network’s speed, cost-effectiveness, and compatibility.

According to RWA.xyz, since its launch in July 2021, Ondo Finance has become one of the largest platforms in the RWA sector. The company has tokenized assets worth $1.8 billion. Ondo’s products have approximately 28,370 holders.

At the time of writing, the capitalization of the RWA sector stands at $35.5 billion.

Ethereum leads the network popularity ranking with a figure of $11.9 billion.

Back in February, Ondo Finance joined Mastercard’s Multi-Token Network blockchain system as part of a new partnership.
