OpenAI Enhances ChatGPT’s Voice Mode

OpenAI Enhances ChatGPT's Voice Mode

The AI firm OpenAI has released an update for ChatGPT’s advanced voice mode, making it more natural. The changes were detailed by researcher Manuka Stratta.

Following the update, the chatbot interrupts users less frequently and engages in more personalized real-time conversations. Its tone is now engaging, direct, and concise.

The update addresses the issue where the AI would interrupt users during pauses made for thought or deep breaths.

The new version of the advanced voice mode is available even to users without paid subscriptions. Owners of Plus, Teams, Edu, Business, and Pro plans will experience an enhanced level of digital assistant personalization.

In March, it was revealed that OpenAI intends to integrate the video generator Sora into the ChatGPT chatbot.

Back in March, OpenAI plans to charge up to $20,000 per month for specialized AI agents.
