Initially, the application is available to subscribers of ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu. A full version of the chatbot for all users is planned for release by the end of the year.
ChatGPT operates on most devices with Windows 10, albeit in a limited capacity. The AI does not support voice mode, including the advanced Advanced Voice Mode.
As with macOS, the chatbot on Microsoft’s OS allows users to run the neural network in a small window alongside other applications for multitasking. It can analyze files, photos, summarize documents, and generate images.
In June, a version of ChatGPT for Apple devices was released.
In September, OpenAI introduced a new large language model, o1, trained with reinforcement learning for complex reasoning tasks.
