Over the next year, OpenAI will provide ChatGPT Enterprise to US federal agencies for $1. This effectively makes the company’s technology “virtually free” for federal executive branch employees.

“The efforts are aimed at fulfilling one of the key objectives of the Trump Administration’s AI Action Plan: to make powerful AI tools accessible to the entire federal government, allowing workers to spend less time on bureaucratic tasks and paperwork, and more time on their primary mission: serving the American people,” the company stated.
