Since the start of August, trading volumes on the OpenSea NFT marketplace have reached $828.6 million. The Block reports this.
According to the publication’s analysts, the figure stood at $125.2 million in June, rising to $284.2 million in July.
Earlier, the platform announced support for the Klaytn blockchain from the South Korean internet giant Kakao. The integration will enable non-fungible tokens based on Klaytn and synchronize accounts with the Kaikas wallet.
In April, OpenSea representatives said the marketplace would use the Immutable X protocol. This would completely remove NFT trading fees.
In July, OpenSea raised $100 million in a Series B funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz.
