The Norwegian company Opera has added support for the BNB Chain in its crypto browser, opening access to assets and decentralized applications within the network’s ecosystem.

The Opera team noted that BNB Chain is the largest smart-contract platform by daily active users — more than 4 million. The weekly transaction count averages 36 million, and the value of assets locked in DeFi projects on the network exceeds $13 billion.
«Beyond access to transactions and funds on BNB Chain, Opera opens the way to dapps, including popular DEXs such as PancakeSwap, 1inch and BiSwap, as well as innovative DeFi products like DRIP Venus, Tranchess, Treehouse, ApeSwap and AutoShark Finance», — the statement said.
The network ecosystem includes GameFi applications (StarSharks, Thetan Arena, StarNift, SecondLive) and NFT-sector products (Galaxy, NFTrade, Galler), the company noted.
BNB Chain is integrated in both desktop and mobile versions of the browser.
In March, Opera Crypto Browser appeared support for Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon, Celo, Nervos Network, StarkEx, IXO and the Ronin sidechain.
Back in January 2022, the developers presented a Web 3.0-oriented crypto browser.
