Otkritie Bank chairman compares Bitcoin to MMM

Bitcoin has no real consumer value, which makes it similar to the financial pyramid ‘MMM’. This opinion in an interview with «Россия 24» was voiced by the chairman of the board of Otkritie Bank, Mikhail Zadornov.

“As a professional financier, I completely exclude this [Bitcoin] from any serious analysis or perception. There was Mavrodi and ‘MMM’. For me Bitcoin is roughly a synonym of the same pyramid,” he said.

In his words, treating cryptocurrency as a real investment asset would be very strange.

Earlier, Bitcoin was compared to a pyramid by the Bank of Russia.
