Pre-sale of tokens from the Trump Legacy collection will begin on January 20. Whitelist applications are open until January 19.
The first tranche consists of 10,000 NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. Each token costs 0.1 ETH (about $330 at the time of writing).
“The historic NFT collection illuminates former President Donald Trump in countless circumstances that reflect the essence of his presidency, using symbolic imagery with serious undertones,” the press release said.
In June 2021, Trump said that Bitcoin looked like a dollar-competing scam. In September, the former U.S. president called investments in cryptocurrency “an impending disaster”.
Earlier in December, former First Lady Melania Trump launched an NFT platform and unveiled her first digital artwork on the Solana blockchain.
