The changes will give our clients greater choice and flexibility when buying cryptocurrencies, the company said.
PayPal pledged to support efforts to raise user awareness about digital assets.
Since November 2020 the service allowed US customers to buy, sell, and store, and since March 2021 also to pay for purchases of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin at partner merchants.
In May, PayPal announced the addition of the ability to withdraw cryptocurrency to external wallets.
Earlier the company confirmed plans to acquire the custodial service for digital assets Curv. The parties expect to close the deal in the first half of 2021.
