The new options are currently in beta, but fully functional, the developers noted.

\n“Without Bitcoin there would be no Solana, Ethereum or Web3. Therefore we are forever grateful to it and very pleased to launch (in beta) on Phantom,” the team emphasised.

Launched in 2021, the multi-currency wallet quickly gained popularity — the number of active users exceeded 3 million in about a year. Phantom is also available as a browser extension, providing access to DeFi applications.

In late 2022 the wallet developers added support for Ethereum and Polygon networks in addition to Solana.

Earlier ForkLog reported that Bitcoin network fees reached an annual maximum due to the Ordinals boom.
