Phantom Integrates Kalshi Prediction Market

The cryptocurrency wallet Phantom has announced a partnership with the platform Kalshi, integrating event outcome trading into its app interface.

Events, odds, and Kalshi-backed tokenized positions are available in a new tab called Phantom Prediction Markets.

Each market also has a dedicated chat. Users can read discussion histories, participate in them, and observe shifts in overall participant sentiment as market conditions change.

Prediction platforms are attracting more crypto projects. In October, the wallet announced native integration of Polymarket, expected by the end of 2025. MetaMask.

In December, the prediction market trading section was added by Trust Wallet, owned by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao. The first was the Web3 protocol Myriad. Kalshi and Polymarket will soon be added to the list of supported services.

Exchanges Join the Fray

On December 11, the trading platform Gemini received a license from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission to launch a regulated platform for event outcome betting. The new platform is called Gemini Titan.

Coinbase is also preparing to enter the segment. In November, independent researcher Jane Manchun Wong discovered interfaces for stock trading and prediction betting in the exchange’s mobile app code.

One of them specifies that “Prediction markets are provided by Coinbase Financial Markets through KalshiEX LLC,” indicating a likely integration with Kalshi.

When asked about the discovered prototypes, a platform representative declined to comment specifically.

Recently, informed sources told Bloomberg that Coinbase plans to announce the launch of prediction markets and tokenized stocks on December 17. The news emerged on the day the exchange joined the Coalition for Prediction Markets (CPM), a group of operators created by Kalshi and Crypto.com.

“Coinbase’s mission is to bring financial freedom to the world, and prediction markets inherently democratize the search for facts and truth,” said Coinbase’s Chief Policy Officer Faryar Shirzad.

Back in late November, Galaxy founder Mike Novogratz revealed that the company is in talks with Polymarket and Kalshi to provide market-making services.
