Phishing Attacks Target TON Ecosystem

Phishing Attacks Target TON Ecosystem

Holders of cryptocurrencies and NFTs within The Open Network (TON) ecosystem have been targeted by widespread phishing attacks aimed at asset theft, according to experts from SlowMist.

According to their information, malicious links and harmful bots are being disseminated in Telegram groups, often disguised as airdrop announcements.

In addition to stealing funds, fraudsters are targeting the acquisition of anonymous numbers in the messenger, and consequently, the accounts created with them. These accounts can be protected through two-factor authentication.

Previously, ForkLog reported on mass spam NFT distributions among Toncoin holders.

Last week, fraudulent campaigns targeting players of Hamster Kombat were also revealed.
