Police recover leased Bitcoin miners worth 800,000 rubles

Police helped a resident of Usolye-Sibirskoye recover the expensive mining equipment that had been leased out. According to the press service of the local police.

The victim took out a loan of 800,000 rubles and purchased ASIC miners. After that he leased them out under a contract, but subsequently could not retrieve them.

Authorities identified the lessee and his whereabouts. After a precautionary talk, the mining devices were returned to their rightful owner.

Earlier ForkLog reported that the Irkutsk Oblast police detained three local residents suspected of the theft of cryptocurrency mining equipment worth more than 600,000 rubles.
