Police to verify information about cryptocurrency scammer from Moscow-City

A pensioner from Moscow told the police that he had fallen victim to a scammer who rents an office in the Federation Tower on Presnenskaya Embankment. This was reported by the Moscow agency сообщает агентство «Москва».

According to the victim, on August 21 he visited the office of a cryptocurrency company, where he handed over to an employee 600,000 rubles and €5,000 to purchase digital assets. However, to date the company has not transferred the coins or returned the money.

The police are conducting an investigation.

Earlier, a top Moscow bank отдала unknown 700,000 rubles, fearing a cryptocurrency loan.
