The cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex announced the launch of «Predictor» — the second campaign in the World Cup Carnival of Poloniex FIFA. It will run until December 19, 15:00 (UTC).
The participants’ objective is to earn as many points as possible by predicting World Cup match results. They cast votes for the teams’ victory based on activity during the contest:
- visiting the campaign page — one vote per day;
- making a deposit — one vote for every 100 USDT in equivalent;
- spot market trading — one vote per 100 USDT of volume on any pair and two votes for trading fan tokens or the CHZ token;
- futures trading — one vote for 200 USDT volume on any futures contract and two votes when trading FOOTBALL and CHZ contracts;
- inviting friends — one vote for trading volumes of referrals, every 100 USDT on spot and every 200 USDT on futures;
- Twitter engagement — one vote for comments with the tag @Poloniex in the exchange’s activities.
Additionally, users can exchange the points earned in the first campaign of the World Cup Carnival Poloniex FIFA for votes.
When a team wins, users receive two points per vote; in case of a draw, one point per vote. Losses yield no points.
Poloniex will distribute prizes among qualified participants — users who have scored more than 50 points. Prizes will be awarded after each round of the World Cup:
- Group stage — 3 December;
- Round of 16 — 7 December;
- Quarterfinals — 11 December;
- Semi-finals — 15 December;
- Third place and final — 19 December.
The prize fund for the round ranges from 5,000 USDT to 10,000 USDT depending on the number of qualified participants. Users will share these sums in proportion to the points earned.
Poloniex — one of the oldest global crypto exchanges, developed by Tron founder Justin Sun. The platform does not require KYC and does not block accounts of users from Russia. The withdrawal limit for unverified users is $50,000 per day.
