Web3 developer Pontem has launched the Layer-2 solution Lumio. This was reported in a press release.
Lumio is an L2 protocol that increases Ethereum network throughput using Aptos blockchain technologies. Among the project’s features:
- compatibility with Move VM and EVM;
- ability to support multiple virtual machines and L1/L2 networks — Ethereum, Aptos, Optimism, Avalanche, zkSync, and others;
- tools for building cross-chain applications.
Lumio is currently deployed on the Sepolia Ethereum testnet. In the future, Pontem plans to create a universal L2 solution compatible with other blockchains.

Pontem is a Web3 service development studio based on Move VM. The project’s ecosystem includes Pontem Wallet for the Aptos network and the decentralized exchange Liquidswap.
