Pontem Team Launches Crypto-Focused Chatbot

The Web3 project Pontem has announced the launch of an AI-powered chatbot designed to answer questions about digital assets, including spot Bitcoin ETFs.

“This is the first crypto market chatbot embedded with on-chain and off-chain data about Aptos, Ethereum, and other blockchains (yes, it can tell you the price),” the developers stated.

Pontem co-founder Alejo Pinto emphasized that OpenAI’s GPT language model lacks cryptocurrency information post-September 2021, necessitating additional training for any AI project in this field.

PontemAI can answer questions about the crypto industry, Pontem products, the Aptos network, and the Move ecosystem. The chatbot is also integrated with the MetaMask wallet, social networks X and Facebook, and Gmail.

“By continuously testing the model and uploading new data cycles, we have created a valuable modern resource for the industry,” Pinto noted.

According to the project’s co-founder, PontemAI offers several advantages over other counterparts, including up-to-date information and faster response times.

To use the neural network, one must possess at least one NFT from the Pontem Pirates collection or 69 DOODOO tokens.

In December 2023, Mastercard’s AI division, Dynamic Yield, introduced Shopping Muse, a chatbot that serves as an assistant for online shopping.

At the end of November, Amazon Web Services announced an AI-powered corporate chatbot named Q.
