The Ukrainian YouTube channel «Телебачення Торонто» sold on an NFT auction the popular meme ‘Chew shit’. The token price amounted to 1.1111 ETH ($2,500 at the time of sale).

The token depicts a video clip featuring the host of the satirical news digest ‘#@)₴?$0’ Yaroslava Kravchenko.

“The ‘Chew shit’ meme doesn’t need explanation; it speaks for itself and invites you to chew shit. This can be done in many situations,” the NFT description says.
\n
Trading took place on OpenSea.
\n
“Thanks to persistent bidding and numerous generous bid increases on the crypto auction, Ukraine has secured its first valuable meme. A good start for the domestic NFT market,” the statement said.

The auction winner, who goes by the handle green-haired-hetman, has already secured ownership rights to the meme.

Going forward, representatives of «Телебачення Торонто» plan to release new NFTs.

Vlogger Stas Davydov tokenized the iconic phrase «И это хорошо» from the YouTube show «This is хорошо». The starting price of the NFT is 3.333 ETH.
