“Presearch is taking artificial intelligence to the next level with PreGPT 2.0, designed for those who value privacy, freedom, and a Web3 experience. Unlike mainstream AI, PreGPT 2.0 ensures privacy, decentralization, and lack of censorship, while providing an engaging, informative, and unfiltered experience,” the announcement states.

The company aims to compete with tech giants offering centralized AI solutions. The chatbot integrates enhanced versions of language models that operate on distributed computers.

Two subscription options are available:

• Basic plan for $2 — uses the 7B model from Mistral AI;
• Professional version for $5 — offers advanced LLM from Venice.ai.

“Both options prioritize user privacy, and conversations are not tracked. When a chat is deleted, the data is erased permanently. Utilizing a range of well-known open-source AI models, PreGPT 2.0 collaborates with Venice.ai and Salad.com to maintain a decentralized infrastructure that encrypts user interactions and refrains from storing chat logs,” states the project’s website.

Founded in 2017, Presearch seeks to rethink the architecture of search engines by making it decentralized. The ecosystem uses the PRE token. PreGPT 2.0 is a separate AI project by the company.

In January, the privacy-focused AI platform Venice released the VVV token.
