Private firms in Tatarstan have invested more than 1 billion rubles in blockchain

Private companies in Tatarstan have spent more than 1 billion rubles on developing blockchain solutions, according to ‘Events’.

The Ministry of Digital Development of Tatarstan named DDS Soft, Ak Bars Digital Technologies, Summus, Fix and others among the key players in this sector.

\n

Most blockchain solutions are still in testing. In the future, the technology is planned to be rolled out in healthcare, education and other sectors.

\n

“The funds allocated by the federal budget to support these developments are fixed in the federal roadmap for the development of the cross-cutting digital technology ‘the distributed registry system’,” the Ministry of Digital Development said.

Back in 2017, the government of Tatarstan began using blockchain in the public sector.
