Pump․fun Revives Streaming Feature with New Restrictions
The Solana token launch platform Pump․fun has reintroduced its streaming feature, closed in November 2024 due to a “lack of moderators.” This was announced by the platform’s co-founder, known as Alon.

The streaming capability has been made available to 5% of users. The platform has also implemented stricter moderation rules, “in line with industry standards.”
The following are prohibited during streams:
- display and promotion of violence;
- harassment and calls for organized persecution;
- pornographic content;
- illegal activities;
- doxing;
- copyright violations;
- promotion and incitement of extremism.
Pump․fun reserves the right to moderate content at its discretion, beyond the listed categories.
Accounts that violate the rules may be blocked, and their data could be handed over to law enforcement in case of legal infringements.
Following the streaming shutdown, the platform’s revenue dropped by 33% within a few days.
In March 2025, Pump.fun launched its own decentralized exchange on Solana.
