According to the developers, the platform offers seamless and free creation of Solana tokens. Instead of writing code, users are offered a simplified JustSendIt mode, as well as the ability to customise settings in LaunchLab mode.
When the token’s curved line reaches a set value (85 SOL in JustSendIt mode), liquidity automatically migrates to the Raydium pool.
Creators have the option to receive 10% of trading fees.
In February, the “meme coin factory” Pump.fun began beta testing AMM functionality on its platform, becoming a competitor to Raydium. The news led to nearly a 30% drop in the price of RAY, the decentralised exchange’s token.
Following the March announcement of LaunchLab—an “answer” to new competitors—the asset rose by more than 11% in a day. With the platform’s launch, the price of RAY increased by over 14% in a couple of hours—from $2.11 to $2.41.
At the time of writing, the token is trading around $2.35, with a market capitalisation of $681.90 million.
As reported by CoinGecko, meme coins were named the most popular narrative of the first quarter of 2025.
