Report: 80% of Meme Coins Listed on Binance See Price Surge

Twelve out of fifteen meme coins added to Binance’s trading list have seen significant price increases, according to analyst Ai_9684xtpa.

Since 2024, Binance has listed 15 Memecoin projects (including futures and spot), with 80% of tokens experiencing significant market cap growth after listing on Binance. The increase for $NEIRO even reached 7594%.

According to the illustration, BOME (-1.3%), MOG (-11.8%), and MYRO (-33.3%) have decreased in value.

NEIRO showed an increase of 7594%, WIF — 486.9%, MOODENG — 295.3%, POPCAT — 224%, MEW — 135.5%, BABYDOGE — 134.5%.

The growth of TURBO (50.9%), CAT (49.6%), NEIRO on ETH (43.8%), BRETT (+28.3%), and GOAT (28%) was in double digits, while PONKE (+8.3%) saw a single-digit increase.

Approximately 60% of the tokens presented are issued on Solana, 26.7% on Ethereum, with the rest on BNB Chain and Base.

Only five assets from the sample are available for spot and futures trading. According to the analyst, Binance is relatively cautious with the first mode concerning meme coins.

Ai_9684xtpa concluded that the platform does not set capitalization requirements for such tokens and is more oriented towards popularity and communities.

Since the beginning of October, the combined market value of the meme coin sector has consistently exceeded $50 billion. At the time of writing, it approached $100 billion.

A significant role was played by the growth of Dogecoin — +82.7% over the past seven days.
