Analysts attributed the rising share of GameFi and NFT segments from July to August to the popularization of the play-to-earn concept in blockchain games and new wave of interest in non-fungible tokens.

«Blockchain games significantly intersect with NFTs, as items or even game characters are represented by these non-fungible tokens», — explained the experts.
Geographically, the largest contribution to NFT-driven traffic came from users in the United States, Thailand, India, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines and the United Kingdom.
Daily user activity analysis across different dapps showed a 63% increase in connections to gaming projects from July to August. During this period, similar metrics for DeFi and NFT rose by 3% and 6%, respectively.

The total number of daily active dapps users grew to 2 million in August — up 18% from July and 883% year-on-year.
From August 1 to September 12, DappRadar’s audience stood at 884,000. Leading countries: United States (121,683), Philippines (72,551), China (48,842), Brazil (35,625), Indonesia (36,742) and Thailand (40,138). In Russia this figure was 27,074, in Ukraine 10,109.
The most active dapp users are aged 25 to 34 (37.34% of traffic). Following are those aged 18 to 24 (26.88%). In August, the fastest growth was shown by the 45+ age group. In the overall sample, almost one in four were women.

In September, Huobi Group’s investment arm announced the launch of a new fund with a $10 million budget for investments in promising Game Finance projects.
