Representatives from ConsenSys and MakerDAO to attend the DAO Tokyo conference

On April 13 in Tokyo, the DAO Tokyo conference will be held, focused on strengthening the community in the Asian region. The event will feature representatives from Gitcoin, ConsenSys and MakerDAO.

The organiser was the Web3 incubator Fracton Ventures. The programme will include educational panels and seminars addressing issues related to the technologies underpinning decentralised autonomous organisations (DAO).

Fracton Ventures noted that the event would give attendees the opportunity to meet industry veterans and help bridge the gap between Western and Asian communities.

“Asia, with its numerous innovative projects and initiatives in this field, has a unique opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the future of DAOs. Hosting a conference on this topic is an important step in promoting adoption, collaboration, diversity and innovation in the development of DAOs in the region,” said Jocelyn Chang, Head of Development for MakerDAO in the Asia-Pacific region.
