Ripple to launch Ripple Liquidity Hub for Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum Classic

Ripple, a fintech company, announced the launch of Ripple Liquidity Hub in 2022. An integrated service with the On Demand Liquidity platform will allow financial institutions to offer clients trading and custody of Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum Classic.

Using intelligent order routing of Ripple Liquidity Hub via API provides the best prices from crypto exchanges, OTC desks and market makers. The product will remove the need to allocate funds among various intermediaries.

According to Ashish Birla, general manager of RippleNet, the service can be viewed as ‘an aggregator for liquidity providers and individual assets’.

In an interview with Decrypt, a senior executive said that custody of cryptocurrencies would be provided by a group of custodian partners. In the future, Ripple is prepared to take on this function, providing another avenue for revenue generation.

The launch of Ripple Liquidity Hub is driven by the wishes of On Demand Liquidity participants. The first client will be CoinMe, the operator of crypto ATMs.

In the future the startup intends to expand its asset lineup, including NFT, and add staking, as well as crypto-savings accounts.

Earlier, U.S. District Judge Sara Netburn ordered Ripple to hand over internal audio and video recordings to the SEC. In late August, the fintech company agreed to such a decision.
