Rosseti: Dagestan remains the leading region for illegal mining farms

Since the start of 2021, Rosseti North Caucasus identified four cases of unmetered electricity consumption by miners. All theft cases were detected in Dagestan.

The damage from the operation of these mining farms is estimated at 730,000 rubles.

The information has already been handed over to law enforcement authorities.

\n

Dagestan remains the leading region in Russia for the number of identified cases of illegal electricity consumption by miners, the company said.

\n

Rosseti North Caucasus stressed that it will continue to work to identify illegal mining farms.

\n

In 2019-2020, Rosseti North Caucasus identified 35 cases of illegal electricity consumption by miners. The amount of damage exceeded 230 million rubles.
