In Russia, a digital service has been introduced to identify unscrupulous owners of crypto wallets. In an interview with TASS the head of ГУЭБиПК of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Andrey Kuronoshenko said.
The service “The Law Enforcement Agency’s Personal Cabinet” uses an analytical module to rapidly obtain information from across the country about financial risks to the economy.
It also shows the results of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ joint work across national projects, in the forestry sector, housing and utilities, the defense industry, cybercrime and other lines of activity.
The system has an integrated module for monitoring cryptocurrency transactions.
“There is already a positive experience in using this instrument to identify unscrupulous owners of crypto wallets,” said Kuronoshenko.
Earlier in May, a Moscow court arrested the Bitcoin wallet of the alleged Hydra administrator, but could not gain access to it.
