Russians Account for a Quarter of Bybit’s Traffic in April

The cryptocurrency exchange Bybit continues to increase its Russian traffic, reaching 25% in April, according to journalist Colin Wu. 

Other platforms popular among Russians include Bitfinex with 10% of total traffic, Bitget and MEXC with 9% each, and OKX with 8%.

HTX saw 7% of its visits last month coming from Kazakhstan.

The largest share of visitors from the US was recorded on Coinbase at 60% and Crypto.com at 32%.

Significant portions of Binance’s traffic came from Argentina and Turkey at 6% each, and Vietnam at 4%. 

Overall, the traffic to major exchanges’ websites decreased by 22% compared to March. Bitget led in growth with an 11% increase, while KuCoin experienced the largest decline at 39%.

Spot trading volume on major exchanges fell by 37.9%.

Futures trading collectively dropped by 1.4%.

According to CCData, the combined volume of spot and derivatives cryptocurrency markets in April fell by 43.8% to $6.58 trillion, following a record high in March of $9.12 trillion.
