Users will be able to connect the Samsung Blockchain Wallet to hardware wallets, including Ledger Nano S and Ledger Nano X.

The blockchain wallet supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, ERC-20 and TRC-20 tokens. It is available only on devices running Android 9.0 or higher.

Private keys are stored encrypted in a space isolated from the main operating system within the Samsung Blockchain Keystore.

The secure processor provides additional protection for user data. Access is possible only via PIN code or fingerprint.

The blockchain wallet will also include a cryptocurrency news feed.

In February 2019, Samsung released the Galaxy S10 with built-in Blockchain KeyStore storage and a crypto wallet.

In May 2020, the company signed an agreement with the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange to enable trading of digital assets.
