Santa Floki token surges 5,000% after Elon Musk tweets photo of puppy in a Santa Claus costume

The meme token Santa Floki (HOHOHO) surged 5,000% after Elon Musk posted a tweet featuring his puppy named Floki in a Santa Claus costume.

According to CoinGecko, HOHOHO is trading near $0.00000065 at press time. The project site estimates the token’s market capitalization at $8.5 million.

Santa Floki is built on the Binance Smart Chain. The team conducted a token presale in November 2021. The project’s white paper does not specify any technical characteristics.

Santa Floki holders receive rewards in the stablecoin Binance USD (BUSD). According to the developers, 4% of the value of transactions related to buying or selling HOHOHO is distributed to them. According to the project, as of writing, users had been paid 304,508 BUSD.

The Santa Floki smart-contract audit was conducted by Dessert Finance.

Musk bought a Shiba Inu puppy in September 2021. When the billionaire announced this, the Shiba Floki token surged by 1300%.

In May, the price Dogecoin (DOGE) rose by 20% after the Tesla founder posted a post featuring a photograph of a dollar bill bearing the meme-coin logo and the caption “Cyber Viking”.

Earlier in December, Musk announced the sale of Tesla merch, which could be purchased with DOGE.
