The coins were mined in block #67,254 when they had no value. Today, they are valued at over $3 million.
Transfers from wallets dating back to 2010 are extremely rare.
In April, a miner who had extracted 50 BTC on April 23, 2010, moved them to two new addresses for the first time in 14 years.
Earlier in March, an unknown individual sold 1,000 BTC mined in 2010, earning approximately $68 million.
Later, a group of 80 wallets transferred 2,352.62 BTC worth over $163 million. They had been inactive for eight years.
That same month, an address “dormant” for nearly 12 years sent all its 500 BTC worth nearly $35 million.
Back in January, analysts at CryptoQuant noted the movement of 49,866 BTC that had been “dormant” for over five years.
